Line4Line discusses importance of the GBR State Fair proceeds

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRProud) – The Greater Baton Rouge Fair is just a few days away and many organizations benefit from the money made to better our community. The fair foundation has donated over $4.2 million dollars since beginning this program in 1987.

Line4Line is a grassroots non-profit organization that works through barbershops to support literacy and close the achievement gap by building self-esteem and providing positive learning opportunities for youth through mentor led out-of-school reading and creative programs.

Over the past six years Line4Line, has provided more 3,000 free haircuts, over 4500 books into homes and an onsite 24/7 accessible Little Free Library.
